Game review: Mass Effect 1 and 2
This week i will be reviewing Mass Effect and its sequel. The original game is one of my favorite rpg's. But changing systems from xbox 360 to the pc version of the second id thought id do the first game again to use a transfered character in the second game. Going through and playing it the second time i'm finding a lot more flaws in this game that i thought was near perfect a couple years back. Some of my major gripes with the game are the inventory and combat system, both of which are fixed in the sequel. In the second game you are given a small cache of weapons and spend your time upgrading said weapons. The combat is much improved in the second game cover fully covers you unlike the first and it is much more satisfying. With these two changes and multiple small other changes between the two games it really shows that Bioware is listening to the gripes of the fans. The major flaw, in my opinion, in the second game is the lake of sure size that the first game has. You just don't get the same feel from the citadel in the second game which is reduced to just the human embassy. Those are the few flaws i saw in both games and how they relate to each other.
Now what i find utterly enjoyable about both games is just the amount of information and dialog that permeates through the games. It shows real love for the work that the developers worked so hard on. Possibly the greatest thing is the connectivity between the two games what you do in the first game shows up in the second whether you help a character makes it depend if hes in the second game. Overall these two games turn into my favorite rpg of all time and both are a definite pickup and i cant wait til the third game
Mass Effect 1(2010 playing)- 7/10
Mass Effect 2- 10/10
Until next time
Stay Frosty Heroes,

afterthought: Oh i didnt mention the fail of the maiko car in the first game a welcome axe in the second game.

Iron Man 2 review and comic pickups of the week
Song of the week Imogen Heap "Hide and Seek"
All right my pull list of the week was, btw this was one of the best weeks in a long while.
Prince of Power #1- Amadeus Cho is the new CEO of the Olympus group and using all his resources to find his best bud Herc.-pickup
Siege #4- End of the Siege epic what will happen to our heroes with the sentry/void out of control.-pickup
The Sentry: Fallen Sun- Can't say much about this comic its the epilogue to the whole Siege storyline.- if you like the sentry pick it up
The Return of Bruce Wayne #1- Grant Morrison's Grand return of Bruce Wayne- pickup
New Mutants #13- The cross x-comics second coming storyline continues- pickup
War of the Supermen #2- Superman at his best, this whole storyline has gotten me into this character, who i thought was boring due to his overabundance of powers. It really goes the distance- pickup
Justice League: Generation Lost #1- Everyone's after Maxwell Lord after his resurrection in Blackest Night.- pickup
The Flash #2- Continuing the wanted storyline which looks to be good the rogues from the future, which are time cops, are after Barry for killing one of there members. The murder itself hasn't happened yet but the craziness ensues.- pickup
Overall one of the best weeks of the year finishing some epic stories, siege, and starting new ones , The return of Bruce Wayne. And i can't wait to see where certain personal favorites go.
Until later,
Stay Frosty Heroes

welcome
Hello and welcome to my wonderful, well in my opinion, blog. In it i hope to talk about whats happening in the world according to me, that includes all things nerdy and fun. Every week i hope to review my comic pickups and hopefully provide you with information to help you with your choices. Also i will try to review a game once a month, sometimes it will be a new game sometime it will be an old classic. So until next time heroes, as a friend once said, stay frosty heroes.
