Science fiction

Science fiction is one of those grand things that tell us a lot about ourselves in the guise of the odd and very strange. Whether it be aliens, magic, or future technology. It is quite amazing how a story about lets say zombies shows the many different sides of how humans would react to a terrible situation. Showing some to be driven crazy while others turn out to be leaders and survivors. In another case authors of alien science fiction portray certain aspects of human nature, either good or bad, onto those creatures and have us embracing or fighting those aspects. Just my thoughts let me know what you think.

The oversaturation of political correctness

I find thinking quite often about the term of political correctness. I find in some cases it is quite warranted like in the work place or out in public. And in other instances it is completely and utterly ruining things like the way some universities cave to pressures of a vocal minority. That minority influences us more and more each day it seems and pretty soon it will be a criminal offense just for eating meat in front of a vegan/vegetarian. Groups on the other side of the spectrum also ruin the way PC works such as religious groups who always have to have their say in something because God forbid we mock some religious ideal or symbol. What are your thoughts on this? I would like to get another perspective on this.

Stay frosty,
